Scott Ziegler, CPA, has been with Piehl, Hanson, Beckman, P.A. since 1998.  He received his CPA certification from the Minnesota State Board of Accountancy in 1999.  Scott was added as a partner in the firm in 2007 and became the CEO in 2010.  He brings over 25 years of experience in public accounting to the firm’s accounting and tax practice, where he serves both private companies and individuals.  Scott practices in a variety of accounting and tax areas, focusing on business and individual tax preparation, corporate accounting, business consulting, and tax planning for a diverse set of industries.

Scott is a member of the Minnesota Association of Public Accountants (MAPA), the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA), and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).  He is active in a number of local civic organizations and activities, serving as the 2007 Commodore for the annual Hutchinson Jaycee Water Carnival.  He is currently a director on the Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce board, is a member of the Hutchinson EDA Finance Team, and is the President of the McLeod County Agricultural Association.
