Alex Hefel, CPA, joined Piehl, Hanson, Beckman, P.A. in June 2018. He graduated from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2016 with honors and B.A. degrees in Accounting, Finance, and Business Intelligence and Analytics. He received his CPA certification from the Minnesota State Board of Accountancy in 2018. Since beginning his public accounting career in 2015, he has and continues to practice in a variety of accounting and taxation areas, including individual and business tax preparation, providing accounting and financial statement preparation for businesses, and is currently involved with the internal information technology. Alex was promoted to Partner in January 2022.
Alex is a member of the Minnesota Association of Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants. In his free time, Alex enjoys traveling to National Parks, hiking, and playing board games and video games.
